Description
The DA-2000 system (folded panel) is also commonly known as boxed panel. One of its advantages is that it can be manufactured with 2mm thick aluminum, thus saving costs versus a system having to be manufactured with 3mm thick aluminum. The panel is made entirely from sheet of aluminum. The aluminum sheets are cut and grooved to the desired shape and size, then folded back on itself to form a panel. This exterior cladding offers a slightly more commercial or industrial look since it normally shows screwing in these joints of 1″ wide and 1″ deep. It is possible to have a painted finish, wood finish or anodized finish and even to use other materials, such as stainless steel.
The DA-2000 product is known for its simplicity and makes it easier to create complex volumes than the DA-1000. In addition, it is possible to have custom joint widths and custom system depth. The DA-2000 is compatible with the FC-200 system of the FUTURA line.
