Curvaceous achievement
Project : Ozias-Leduc Secondary School, Mont-Saint-Hilaire (QC)
This building was designed to meet the need for repair of the Ozias-Leduc school auditorium. A design, let’s say, quite atypical, made by the firm Architure BL. It is the DA-1000 system of 3D Panels that was installed to follow the circular shape of the building. To accomplish this curve, the installer had to previously cover the building with a galvanized steel substructure with varying depths to create a perfect circle from a structure in the shape of a polygon. Once night falls, recessed lights light up and give the building a futuristic look.
