WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE ALUMINUM CLADDING?

PROPERTIES

Aluminum is a material with unique properties. It is very light, offers good durability and is recyclable. An aluminum cladding can easily last 40 years or even longer if it is well maintained. It offers good resistance to rust and is considered non-combustible. This material also has the advantage of being waterproof and rot-proof, which means it will not rot, mold or be affected by pests like rodents and termites. In addition, the colors and finishes possible are endless. It is possible to anodize the material for a shiny and resistant finish, to paint it in the color of your choice or there are even special finishes such as brushed, mirror, prismatic, wood finish and many others.

WARRANTY

In addition to having exceptional durability, it is possible to obtain guarantees on finishes covering color stability, gloss as well as adhesion and cracking. These guarantees may vary depending on the choice of paint and color, up to 30 years.

MAINTENANCE

Aluminum is a strong material, which offers flat surfaces and a smooth finish. Exterior sidings such as architectural panels wash themselves off in the rain. Aluminum panels requires little maintenance and does not rust. We still recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines. See the technical resources section for more information.

SUSTAINABLE AND ECOLOGICAL

Aluminum has a life cycle that few other metals can match. In addition to being corrosion resistant, it has the property of being able to be recycled almost indefinitely without loss of quality. Currently about 30% of the aluminum produced worldwide comes from recycling and 75% of the aluminum produced since 1888 is still in use.

Recycling aluminum is therefore considered economical and ecological. Indeed, the production of secondary aluminum requires much less energy than primary aluminum, which helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
